Celebrate 70 years of the Rover P4 in 2019!

70th Anniversary Weekend for the Rover P4

Presented by the Rover P4-Devon Branch.

The Cheltenham Chase Hotel

Shurdington Road, Gloucester, GL3 4PB

Friday 6th-Sunday 8th September 2019.

The Rover P4 Drivers Guild Devon Branch would like to present the 70th anniversary week-end, open to all Rover owners and clubs.

The 70th anniversary of the Rover P4 will be an event not to be missed, bringing members and their vehicles together to mark the production of this remarkable car.

As a branch of the National Guild, we have taken it on ourselves to celebrate the car we love and cherish and thought it would be a great opportunity to open it up to all members of The Guild and other Rover owners. We believe that in order to perpetuate interest in these cars, it is vital that future generations be introduced to the charms of the P4, thus ensuring that these cars will be cared for well into the future.

A lot of man-hours have gone into planning this event and we hope you will join us for the celebrations.

A special invitation to our continental guests.

The Club would like to extend an invitation to all those intrepid Rover enthusiasts who are planning to come to the 70th Anniversary to join us for a few days after the event, as we plan to take our club annual holiday immediately after, touring the beautiful Cotswolds and surrounding areas.

We are planning a visit to Stratford-upon-Avon, Blenheim Palace, Bourton-on-the-Water and other attractions in the area, as well as driving some of the loveliest roads in rural England.

For those of you who are unable to bring your own P4s, as a thank-you for your support, club members are happy to offer a car share as we tour the area, so that you can experience the P4 on the roads it was designed for!

If you wish to take up this offer, please would you email Gary Page at garrypage69@gmail.com, so that he can arrange your extended accommodation at the hotel. He will then email you back with the price.

Club members will remain at the hotel until Friday 13th September; you are welcome to join us for as long as you like!
