2019 Show report

Our show held on Saturday 22nd June was a huge sucess, we had 110 cars on display from the 1920’s till 2019, the show field looked fantastic full of cars and people who visited the show,

This year we had several car clubs booked in and i am sure this adds more interest for the public, the sun shone all day for us making it even more spiecal,

The car voted the best in show by the other exhibitors and general public was a Riley RM owned by Peter Clarke, Peter has attended our show since the first one,

The best Rover was a Rover P3 owned by Malcome Hinxton and was well deserved, i would not liked to have been a judge the standard of the cars just seems to get higher every year,

The Tony Brewster award was awarded to Terrie and Ian for thier rolling restoration, a P4 that was pulled out after 22 years and got on the road, just the sort of thing Tony would have appreciated

The final award was the Blue Ball Trophy awarded to the person or persons who have made a differance to the club over the past 12 months, this year it was awarded to Robin and Dot Harper,

My thanks go to all the exhibitors for bringing thier lovely cars for us all to enjoy, without you there would not be a show, also to all our club members and thier wives for the hard work in getting the show ready, also for the help on show day and finaly for clearing the show ground at the end of the show,

we will soon be in a position to announce how much we will be donating to our charities, watch this space !!
