On Sunday 18th January we met at Exeter services and did a short run taking in Exmouth,Budleigh Salterton.,Sidmouth and ending up at the Blue Ball Sidford for a carvery.
We had four P4s, two Austin A30/35s a Morris 1000 and Harry’s lovely Land Rover.
It all went well until we got to major roadworks at Exmouth when Ken’s car decided to play up! (he being the mechanic has no time to fix his own car) After a bit of tinkering we were soon on our way, the cars turned heads everywhere we went.
When we arrived at the Blue Ball we were met by the rest of our group who didn’t do the run, altogether 46 people attended, we were joined by our friends from the Austin A30/35 club it is always nice to see them. We had a great meal but not quite enough time for catching up, thank-you all who made the effort to attend i am sure it was worth it, that was a great start to our Rovering year!
